Ajit Agarkar was born on 4th December 1977 in Maharashtra and is one of the popular former cricketers of India. He has been the 3rd highest wicket-taker in cricket. The Former Indian Cricketer Ajit Agarkar Career:

With the memories of collecting seven ducks while playing against Australia, Ajit Agarkar has also proven his batting ability by scoring 50 runs in 21 balls playing against Zimbabwe. Holding the same style he won a test hundred playing in the Lords in the year 2002. One of his best game performances was at the test with a 160, India won by a match haul of 8 wickets in 2003-04. 

Ajit Agarkar was a right fast-medium bowler and right-handed batsman. He is the 3rd highest wicket-taker for the ODIs. In 1998 he made his debut in International cricket against Australia. In his first match, he took his first wicket, and then he took 22 wickets in the later 8 ODI cricket matches.

The school has inspired Agarkar to develop an interest and focus on cricket games apart from academics. He developed as a batsman and bowling skills were less when he practiced a Shivaji Park. He played as a batsman scoring high during the inter-school Giles Shield tournament. The tournament was for the under 16s, he made three centuries at the age of 15 years.

He also scored heavily in the Harris shield under 19 and then his interest shifted towards bowling. It slowly built him as an all-rounder with excellent skills in both bowling and as a batman. It was in 1998 that he started playing his nationals and then slowly gained opportunities to play for the International matches.
